Brittany Bisinotto, DVM

Brittany Bisinotto, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Brittany Bisinotto, also a true Floridian, was born in Tampa and raised in Palm Coast. Unlike many of her peers, she didn’t always want to be a veterinarian. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in biomedical engineering. During her senior year she worked for the late Ron Wilson, former state veterinarian of Tennessee and volunteered at the Nashville Zoo. After visiting South Africa on a month-long wildlife veterinary excursion, she was hooked and knew that a career in veterinary medicine was meant to be. She earned her master’s degree in Animal Science at the University of Florida while also working full time as a veterinary technician. In 2014 she graduated from Ross University’s School of Veterinary Medicine after completing her clinical year at the University of Florida.

Before finding the gem that is Trenton Animal Hospital, Dr. Bisinotto practiced in south Florida, Minnesota, and did relief work in the greater Gainesville area. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and promoting quality of life with a multimodal approach in senior patients. Dr. Bisinotto is passionate about client education and believes that the more informed owners are, the more prepared and empowered they’ll be to make decisions on behalf of their furry family members.

Dr. Bisinotto lives in Gainesville with her husband Rafael, a fellow veterinarian and professor at UF’s College of Veterinary Medicine, and their 3 daughters, Lena, Zoe, and Piper. Dr. Bisinotto enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening, and live music.
